Paul Rhodes Does Not Know How to Win

He's not getting fired dude. Didn't think I'd see the same over reactions and thoughtless rants after we lost the game for last place that didn't matter. Everyone knew we sucked.

The chance is way bigger than 0%! It will cost us more financially to keep him around long term. No way JP can take a chance on JTS being half full for a whole season.

I think JP plays the odds that fans will show up. With the new endzone and how the schedule sets up I think there will still be good turnouts. With that said, I think now is the time to move in a new direction.

I would like to see pr get it done, we are 3 plays from 5 wins. And that with one if the worst defenses Iin the country. Seriously 3 plays executed well at all and pr is a hero right now.

Problem is the holes at linebacker and Qb could actually be worse next year, and my guess is that will be the end. He just had to many misses at Qb and linebacker to field a decent team.

I think that disturbes me more than anything, you could see the cliff at linebacker coming two years ago and they did nothing to fill it. Qb just recruited the wrong guys and misjudged talent.

I think JP will also hope that people show up to see the new SEZ next year. Along with home games with UNI and Iowa, which will sell out no matter what.

However, if we come out next year and get blown out by UNI in game one, all hell is going to break loose. Attendance will drop like a rock. If we lose to UNI, JP should fire Rhoads right after the game.

Actually, he should be gone now IMO, but I could easily see JP keeping him one more year due to the reasons above.

Mark it down. If we keep Rhoads we will lose to UNI. What do you think that is going to do to fan support and attendance. Is it worth it? 3 FCS losses in 3 years?!!

Well its clear to see you are the last one sniffing CPRs jock. Do you intend to go into every thread and try to police it? Fact of the matter is; the fanbase is sick of this **** and has every right to be after we have all stepped up with season tickets, donations, and our time and have gotten nothing to show for it.

You need a snickers, you sound cranky

Neither does Sam...never won a BigXII game and makes HORRIBLE decisions in key situations...fade route into double coverage to a 5'5" receiver?? Force a 7 yard pass when you could run for at least 5?? Scramble on 4th and 7?

True that. He could have run on 2nd or third for a first down. Then on fourth does and stops 1 yard short for a juke?! Wtf! Pure stupidity. Players lost this game.

I am sorry but knowing how to spell his name really doesn't seem to gain a lot more points for anything . His chance of getting fired is probably nil but that simply means we will have one more year of listening to why we whiffed again in 2015.

You have 6 posts and two are on on this topic. Fail.

He doesn't know how to win but even my wife could find a way to win 4 out of 5 to start the season next year. He will win a few to get our hopes up then let them be obliterated by the back half of the schedule.

Also, IF CPR stays Wally needs to go. I feel like that is a no brainer after being 115th in the nation (out of 125) as a defense. I don't care how many injuries this team had, that is totally unacceptable. And don't tell me that he has a bend but don't break defense, which is leading to that bad number, because that is clearly untrue due to the schemes and coverages the team has ran this year.

You got a better QB to put in this season?

I agree CPR needs to go at the end of this season, but don't pick on the players. Is it his fault he's the best we have? We tried plan B at Kansas, and that didn't work out.

Maybe Lee-Campbell will be amazing and will earn a starting job next year.

Not going to matter. I don't know why everyone thinks that getting rid of Wally is going to make our D2 caliber defense better. This is a **** show from the top down!

I'm sorry I don't have thousands of posts as you do. I have a job where I can't hang out on the net all day and screw my employer out of the time they are paying me to WORK.

It doesn't mean I can not have my opinion.

Didn't read all the posts in this and somewhat disagree with premise, but he definitely did not play to win today. We had a opportunity to take control of the game on the drive that lead to Netten's second FG miss. We get 7 there and it might be a wrap. We had good field position and sat on the ball to settle for the fg attempt, even though we had chances after that I knew it was wrap after that drive. You can debate Mangino calls the plays but head coach is the man in the end.
