He and Royce could absolutely destroy a defender if they had their mindset on getting inside, probably more than all but a few other players of the past 20 years. When Burton put his head down and took it to the rim, god have mercy on the souls of whoever got in his way.

Georges gets back. And at the same time neither probably ever gets to Ames.

ISU would have killed Purdue in that tourney game if we'd just gone isolation with Burton earlier in the game. Their super slow All American wasn't even close to being able to defend him.
Probably the time where Fred vs Prohm was most evident coaching a game.
Mandatory #2. What a game. Oh so close. That Purdue game against Swanigan and Haas was something else. Will never forget it.

Ah, now I get it. Sorry Gunner!I think @Gunnerclone is saying they don't come to ISU to start with because they go to a blue blood or similar with those kinds of measureables.
That dunk on Swanigan 62-65 was so epic. I'm still amped up.That Purdue game against Swanigan and Haas was something else. Will never forget it.
I'll never forget Prohm getting heckled by the fan in the post senior night game ceremony, and then proceeding to chastise the fan.I’ll never forget Prohm tearing up when Deonte was introduced on senior night.

I hope that guy posts here and sees this. Thought he was a prick at the time, but looking back on it it was freaking hilarious. More so because of Prohm and his awkwardness than the players. They didn't deserve to hear that comment.I wouldn't call that true heckling. Prohm said something about the season not being what we had hoped. And there weren't very many people there, so when the one guy said something like "you're telling me," his voice carried and Prohm heard it.
