ill jump in on your side, @CychiatricWard. I wouldn’t say “suck” but they are old and stale. We’ve had that same design for as long as I can remember. We never change it up. It could use a refresh for sure.

Maybe we don’t have the equipment to change it up during the season.

I can admit I went overboard for sure on it, but just doesn’t look good anymore, to me. Just want to see something different.

Oh I know it. Just something I don’t particularly like. Just like the pioneer logos at Hilton. Should be red or yellow to match.

Yeah tell the sponsor paying for them, they must change their registered trademark logo, to match our colors. That should go over well.

If anything, this is probably the legitimate gripe. We've had that font since at least the early Rhoads years. Wouldn't mind something fresh, but most people probably don't notice or care.

FWIW - Did you know that football field turf paint used to be made in the Madison, WI area? I worked for a trucking co. whilst in grad school there, and recall loading Miami Dolphins endzone paint, among others...

So, you havent seen, Michigans, Minnesota, Georgia Techs, Washington,Tenn, Pitt, ND and on and on?

There are a lot of logos that have been around a long time that are just block or script letters.

The only Issue I have is the bevels. I think the bevels and 4 colors confuse a lot of things.

We need to stick to 2 color logo.

Why in gods green earth do our endzones suck so much? The midfield logo is wonderfully done, and we are stuck with these monstrosities.

over last 2 years were 6-11 coming off a 50-20 schalaking, and even 2021 season at 7-6 was supposed to be our best team, and we talking about End Zones. End Zones, seriously End Zones? End Zones, I just wish our guys would see them more

Did you know there was a time when Iowa's 3 big colleges, UNI, ISU, Iowa, all had artificial turf fields? The running joke at the time was:

Yall are wild. The end zones suck, doesn’t need to be a huge thing, just seems like they could color them or change the font. Just doesn’t look good.
