OU Tailgating

Good morning all!
I am looking for some suggestions for tailgating at the OU game. I have a group of 9-10 going and we are looking to take in the environment down there. We haven't decided if we are going to stop by the DFW tailgate. We plan to bring a rolling cooler and then walk around from lot to lot, but without attending a tailgate there, we were wondering if this is an option with their setup? Any suggestions on what you would recommend would be greatly appreciated.

We used to park by the Loyd Noble Center.....probably different name now. We found it best to walk down to the streets around stadium. Beer sold out of stock tanks and plenty of food for sale.

Do the DFW tailgate for sure. That's where everyone will be. You can park there and they will have shuttles to the game so you can throw the cooler back in your car when you're ready to head in

In 2019, we parked in the Lloyd Noble Center parking lot and just parked our cooler there. Throughout the afternoon, we walked around that lot joining in on quite a few ISU tailgates. Before the game we went up to the Campus Corner area and met with a couple ISU friends that had been up there to eat.

If we were heading back this year, the 11 am kick would limit us to choosing just one of those this time around, and we would choose the tailgate scene at LNC.

It will be kinda lame for an 11 am kick. They think they're above early kickoffs, and they aren't as enthusiastic about tailgating as we are.

​ From the DFW Cyclone Club:​ We will be tailgating at the Lloyd Noble Center at 2900 S Jenkins Ave, Norman, OK in the SE Corner of the Parking lot. There are constant shuttle buses back and forth to the football arena before and after the game from the north loop of the parking lot pictured below. We will have a couple of RV spots while parking for cars in the general lot is free. See picture below. This is a Bring Your Own Tailgate. We'll provide the location, you bring the party. Bring some chairs and your cooler with something to throw on the grill. We will all hang out together and party like Cyclones do. We have a party trailer with a grill, satellite and 75" TV. We'll have tables too. Just look for the ISU Flag.​
