OU now vs then

Well they are OU, but I'm pretty sure we will be competitive with them. To be honest I expect us to win. Yep I'm wearing my cardinal colored glasses.

We are a two point conversion/PI call away from being 3-1 against them over the last four games. Don't even need cardinal glasses to think that a win is likely anymore.

Part of me is nervous to see our line go up against Perkins, the dude looked insane in the okie state game and a few others I’ve watched. Listening to woody on FART yesterday made me feel better about it as our guys punked the preseason big 12 defensive player of the year and his brother on the WVU DL last week. Our offense is so much further ahead than it was the first time we played them. Just worry about the classic egg laying scenario.

ISU will need its A game to win. Even a B game like they had against UT will not be good enough.

We have the horses to do it just have to execute.

Not too worried. Campbell and Co. have played Riley tough the 4 games versus him (winning 2).

The past few weeks this is the best I have seen Iowa State play in my 40 years. I think Iowa State wins by 14 points.

Nobody is letting off the gas in this game. Only chance at the CFP is a convincing win. If it gets out of hand, the one team will keep piling for that slim chance.

Are they significant upgrades over whoever started previously? I think we are playing so much better now, especially on offense, than we were first time around. Think it will be another back and forth game.

Their defense has had their ears pinned back recently from what I've seen.

Much different than previous years. Not sure if it's a personnel thing as much as it's someone teaching basics in defense.

They are quietly leading the conference in only giving up 88 yards/game rushing.

I noticed #44- Radley Hiles who is DB for OU did not play against Baylor. He was a large part of OUR offense in our first game against OU as he drew multiple PI calls. Anyone have any idea why he did not play against Baylor?

Need Radley-Hiles to play for OU’s defense. Was out against Baylor due to contact tracing. He’s good for a couple of dumb penalties a game that help extend drives.

pretty sure that dude has Napoleon syndrome
