Bumping Part II so thanks for the first bump @SCNCY

Has anyone ever owned a Miele vacuum?
I owned a Miele Teiflex. Very powerful.
Terrible engineering (which is shocking considering their history) of where the roller's bearing met up with the plastic of the head.
Hair would really tangle up in it. I constantly had to take the head apart and was always so ready to do it, I kept the specific star bits in a zip lock, so I wouldn't have to search for them.

I even bought it from a mom and pop store in DSM, they gave me a free head because it kept happening......and it still happened.

Moved onto a Shark which has somehow absolutely performed better in regards to hair.

There's a ton of robo-cleaner brands out there now vs. 5 years ago. I have no idea on the quality of the various (most like Chinese) brands now available on Amazon and what not.

I now have 2 roombas and have encountered some issues with each as they have aged. Far from perfect.

That’s something I’m curious about, because we bought our Roomba in 2021, and it crapped out already. So curious what people have to say about some of those other brands.

Free head, you say?

Now that's the suction we're looking for around here.

I have a Shark RV1001 (5ish years old) and Roborock Q5+ (2ish years). No problems with either. The Roborock seems to do a somewhat better job but is pretty loud. It also requires bags for the self emptying that aren't reusable. Shark is quiet and will return to the dock to empty if needed and start back where it stopped.
