To break a levee you start with percussion (and add harmonica as needed).
Not to derail the thread, but there's a pretty good James Garner movie called '36 Hours' where the Germans attempt to convince him, after being captured, that he was in a coma and the war is over - so they can get him to let slip the D-Day plan.
