On That Note - "It Sounds Like... John, Paul & George"

Not a Beatles sounding group, but to me towards the end of Chicago`s `Feeling Stronger Everyday`, in the background, you can hear a very `She Loves You` ' yeah, yeah, yeah`.

I posted this last night in my second post. But since somebody already posted the Oneders/Wonders song I thought I repost it. If you read the notes it credits this song/group for one of the prime inspirations to Tom Hanks for the movie, That Thing You Do

This STP is very John Lennon Beatles, especially the ghost-like effect on some vocals. Guitar towards the end is a little like Harrison too.

Hey this song sure sounds like both...

"I Feel Fine"
"Don't Call Us (We'll Call You)"

Oh. Wait. It came out three years before "I Feel Fine."

Even the great ones lift a riff here and there. :)

Really haven't even listened to these guys in forever but they were definitely Beatlesesque.

And these guys have some stuff that digs into it a bit as well...fun part of this is it's about the time I happened upon them opening for The Black Keys. Other note is in 2008 I saw these guys and someone in the audience had made them a guitar, and he used it for the show.

Guided By Voices catalog is sprinkled with Beatles-esqueness. Not easy to isolate; in many cases, it blends with the band’s myriad influences (60s garage, Pink Floyd, punk, basement-quality recording equipment, and so on).

Having said that, these 3 offer a decent sampler.
