I saw The Service perform at Maintenance Shop on two occasions. I'm not sure of exact years.
They were a little before my Iowa State time. My brother saw them at People's, Claude Pate and The Slugs were the openers, which both played If You Will. The Service ended up playing it twice. Guessing he was also at the Maintenance Shop shows. The bass player in the video is wearing a Boone Scenic Railroad shirt.
Janet Jackson “If” is a surprisingly good song by 90s pop standards.
Production on some of her hits is a little underrated imho.
