WVU beat our dream team (Kane, Ejim, Niang, Morris, Hogue) by 25. That was on the road but basketball can be wild.

That was one of the toughest games to watch that I can recall. WV was throwing flames from outside and we couldn't buy a shot. Hogue kicking that dude in the chest was the real highlight of the game though.

To be fair, Baylor plays really well in dead arenas, so the Lloyd Noble Center is pretty much a home game for the Bears.

I actually think this is a factor that helps KU out on the road. They draw well on their name so even at the typically dead arenas they have a good turnout and lively crowd. For ISU we are used to a good environment at home but we aren't the name draw on the road. So we end up playing in dead arenas and the team sometimes comes out a little flat in those cases.

Holy Crap - it was in NORMAN ?#@? I saw the espn ticker last night and was surprised, but now hearing it was at OU...I have no words ?? Is BAY a legit threat to win B12? Have to wait to see if KU gets their cheater approved to play. SMH a 30 pt loss at home ?#@?
With Clark, Baylor is probably in first place. Of course, with Lard and/or without some egregiously suspect calls, they have a home loss to ISU.

It’s painful to think how close we are to having a 4 game lead inn KU.

All of Iowa State's three losses in the conference are to the three teams currently tied for first place...by a total of eight points, two played on the road.
And were all three winnable games with a few changes in "luck."

I'd hate to waste a perfectly good opportunity to post this

Yes, totally agree; that was a devastating injury and why I was amazed how they beat-down OU. CLark is Nick-Ward like good - I wish he would leave so we don't see him next year.
And don't get me going on the BAY and KSU games; it rips me to think we had leads, with less than 2mins - and possession of the ball. but didn't close out...Anyway; let's beat BAY in Hilton.

The Texas gym will be filled with blue tonight for the J'hawk visit. Ku's a 1.5 point dog in this game if you can believe that?

Texas led at half at KU and only endeed up losing by 2. Texas is a team that needs to be motivated to play well. If they are, they normally have the talent to beat whoever they are facing. However, they can just lay an egg for no reason whatsoever.

If Texas is hitting from outside and can open up the lane, I could see a KU loss tonight.

I hate playing them, and I cringe when I see people chalking those games as wins beforehand.

Texas does have talent and would in theory have the posts to cause ISU issues (same with KU minus Doke). I'll be watching tonight how Self changes his game plan from the first game. I would think Prohm would be doing the same for Saturdays game.

...and it was a Monday after a home game, which coincidentally enough is the same setup we have next week with OU. Obviously that did not favor OU last night, so hopefully talent wins out next week.

I'm not saying Vandy is a really great team by any stretch of the imagination (however they did take Tennessee to OT), but they got routed on Saturday to the Oklahoma team that just got routed by Baylor. Oh college sports....you beautiful mystery!

Hard to be scared about either of the remaining OU games after watching them play WVU today. Same goes for the away game at WVU too. That is some ugly basketball. We'd have to completely **** the bed, which of course is possible but seeming less likely every day with Lard and Wiggs finally coming into their own more.

I have a really hard time figuring out anywhere where we don’t match up well with Oklahoma. I think we sweep them.
