That guy who predicts TV and time has ISU and OU in the ABC prime time slot.

The last time ISU played in the ABC Saturday Night Football football slot I believe was 2005 vs Nebraska (lost in OT). Would be another huge opportunity and a chance to redeem the season with lots of eyes watching.

It’s gotta be either 11:00 on FOX or 6:30 ABC. I don’t know which one has the 1st selection (thinking FOX may have the 1st Big 12 pick at least until the Big 10 starts). TCU @ Texas is the main competition for 1st TV selection.

That was 2006. Lost 28-14.

The SEC will be up and running so I'd bet they go with one of their games.

ISU needs to play like they had fall camp in their first 2 games before they get a slot like this.

Wasn’t the game at OU last year technically the ABC Saturday night telecast? It didn’t get Fowler and Herbstreit who called an earlier game on ESPN.

It seems like the prime time ABC spot is not as valued anymore. Networks putting more emphasis on noon eastern.

TV already set for SEC games on 10/3. Auburn @ Georgia is on in prime time on ESPN. I expect that game gets the full ABC/ESPN treatment and Fowler/Herbstreit calling the game. Probably GameDay site as well.

As it should. It's a no brainer vs. OU/ISU at least.

I wanted to dislike this but I’m not optimistic either. CMC has shown he can pull a rabbit out of a hat though.

The difference between the first game and basically the rest of the season are pretty drastic so let's hope it's VERY drastic this year.

I would rather have Sean Mcdonough and Todd Blackledge as the announcers if on ABC Primetime if Fowler and Herbie will be at Auburn and Georgia ESPN game with Gameday.
