I think Campbell going after our players bc Mouser didn't get the job is natural, not necessarily some vengeful act. If his buddy was here, he would be less likely to take anyone. I think that would be true of a former assistant that was at any school.

Though he should at least kick the tires on some Auburn kids.

With the qb coach hire official what are the chances we get Jaylen Raynor? Hes definitely underrated on the transfer market so we shouldnt have to pay more than what we already paid rocco. I like moberly but doubt he's ready to be the guy yet and we're going to need to bring at least two other guys in to fill out the qb room

A lot of folks looking at recruiting rankings to try and talk themselves into thinking we’ll retain our best players. Stop doing this to yourselves. Recruiting rankings matter until you step in the field. Performance is all that matters then. Plenty of our guys can step right in at Penn State and not miss a beat. Just accept that our best players are gone. They are.

Just looking at our offensive and defensive rankngs last three years: offensive averages no. 9 in Big 12. Best we did with nfl receivers was no. 7. If you replace Konrardy with an average kicker, last two years we probably average no. 11., defensively we were a top 5 scoring defense. Take away Roccos pick sixes and we are probably no. 2 defense. In addition, Take away the muffed punts we would be number one for one year and number two one year. Our offense and Campbell special teams really held down an elite defense. Konrardy probably added more to our offense than people realize. Rocco was good, but iit also came was a high cost. Of all the teams above .500 we were probably dead last or near the bottom.
