Why is there so little chance of retaining him? wouldn't he have announced by now if it was a done deal?
Gabe just announced today. Rocco just announced the other day. Sometimes it just takes some time. Expect no starters to be back next year pretty much.
Can we just assume that everyone on our 2025 roster is "OUT", and only start posting about the players that are confirmed staying?

I am very curious. In basketball, I see it all the time: pulling the jersey side to side and pointing at the "Iowa State" as if to say, THIS is who we are. I even recall Purdy doing that on occasion when he was here. But, recently, I hadn't seen it. Maybe I was just missing or dismissing it. Could there have been a recruiting ideology change in football. Let's face it. CMC didn't exactly live up to his own preaching. Did he instill too much 'teammates' stuff and not enough Iowa State stuff? The exodus suggests that may be a big part of the equation. Just a thought process needing some informational input and/or validation. Thanks!
I have zero confidence in Jimmy right now and am fully convinced we’re going to go 4-8 at best next year. Is he such a bad salesman that he can’t even get the Iowa guys to stay? And with Bacon…Jimmy is a former LB himself, our DC is a former LB and will be the LB coach…what could they have possibly told our best LB that made him be like “yeah, I’m not sticking around for this..”?

What makes you think we win 4 games? What gives you any idea what our record will be yet? We don’t even know our roster yet.
