With ISU's House Settlement budget, IMO there was no way ISU would keep both.

Hanson was a dog at finding the hole, but IMO had substandard speed and no second level moves. I think he can be replaced.

I'm kinda buying what your selling. Pretty confident that Rogers & Roehl will find RB's. There's a lot of guys out there.

More important to have a solid OL.

When I left ISU I worked as a broker for Edward D Jones & AG Edwards for 7+ years…used to meet business owners in Iowa and ask them about their tax brackets. Not shitting on anyone. If you are going to give credit for the efforts against JMU, Ole Miss and Virginia don’t we also want to provide the context of North Texas and Oregon State.

North Texas won 11 games and was ranked 25th. They also played oregon State a second time and beat them in the rematch. They seem to have struggled early, made a QB change and played better as the season went on. All positives to me.

Some things you can see on TV. Most you can’t.

I have seen in person some ultra elite running backs.

Without going over the last 45 years of them all, and I could try to list them all. They are Ultra Elite, college and then Pro.

Probably start with Billy Sims , Thurman Thomas. Then Barry Sanders. That kind of elite opposing RBs. And it just goes from there. Of course Troy Davis.

I’ve been to many Ohio State games and many other non-ISU games. I have Seen a lot of Elite RBs.

I will say, Breece Hall Breece Hall was probably Top 4 of the best College RBs I have ever seen. Just the way he runs and in the passing game was incredible for a college player. without the Blown Knee and the purgatory called The Jets, he would’ve been an all-timer.

I only saw CMC run all over Iowa in the Rose Bowl on TV.

Saw CMC for the first time last night in Indy. Just an incredible runner, with speed , power, elusiveness, and vision.

I think the comparison of Hansen to Christian McCaffrey only comes down to their skin color.

Carson Hansen is as you put it, a damn good college Running back….with upside in the passing game.

Carson runs a bit like John Riggins.

17 players into the transfer portal and 16 decommits from our class. We have a single commit from Washington State’s class. We are 32 players in the red and I’m guessing we see another 10-12 before the end of the month.

Manske would kill it with Roehls offense. And that would save JFR 1.5 million or more for other positions
