To be honest, I could care less how much leash PSU gives Matt. Matt has moved on, and I have moved on from Matt.

I’m all in for the Jimmy Rogers era and am excited to see what he can do with this program

I don’t think their expectations sky high for the first year, many of them. There are those who will always complain about Campbell being there and pick him apart the first year. But the general fan base probably will cut him SOME slack the first year.

Why wouldn't they be high? Their schedule is an absolute joke next year. If he doesn't go at least 10-2 then its a major failure.

I’d look at this guy to get an offer from Iowa State. With Rocco inevitably going to Penn State, this guy fits the mold of what Roehl wants to run. He is much more of a dual threat (1,000+ rushing yards this year).

Should be, but I guarantee you that next summer, the Penn State SID office is going to really tamper down the expectations whispers to the media and podcasters, so if they get 8 wins, Campbell looks like a genius pick by the AD and 9 or 10 wins, wow, he is the greatest thing since a slice of bread was invented.

I actually think it’s funny that MC is stealing ISUs 3 star players. It will serve him and Pedo St well as they go up against 5 star recruits from Michigan, Oregon, USC and Ohio St. Good luck with that Matt. I look forward to your fall from grace.

If you don’t think he is capable of taking some of the best players that either were playing, or were going to be playing here, mashing them with the Penn State talent that does return, and filling in gaps from the portal, and winning a decent amount of games his first year, you were not paying attention the last 10 years. Or you are still munching on sour grapes.

No grapes at all, but this is a school that bought out a guy that was winning on average about 10 games a season. There is a huge difference to not only the talent base between the two schools and what is expected. Win 8 games at ISU and you are in high cotton and getting a raise, do that at Penn State and you canned. PSU has had 8 players drafted in the past 2 round since 2021, while we have had 2. The talent level is like the Grand Canyon between the two schools.

Agreed, which is why he's taking his previous commits to Iowa State. We don't have a single commit to replace the ones that have left.
