That's why the portal exists, so, yeah.Spring semester starts Jan 20 I believe. Will most or perhaps all of the committed incoming transfers be on campus then? I would imagine there's no need to wait until summer.

I don't think we will be like that.Watching the game last night, i see why the new coaches are loading up with the OL and DL. Miami was winning that battle last night. I hope that is what ISU will be like with this new team. What do you guy think? That was really impressive.
LSU's offer to Sorsby got leaked, 3.5 million. TTU reportedly in the 5 range, as mentioned.
"NIL" is also being used as a catch-all for both Rev Share and NIL. Semantics matter and hope that the media, and subsequently fans, begin to understand and delineate better between the two. Could be Sorby's total package from Rev Share and actual NIL deals in close to $5MM.I am not sure any NIL number is correct. Blum said the number floated around about Abu's NIL was way over inflated. I would be surprised if Sorsby is getting $5 million or Rocco is getting $3.5 million. Maybe they are, but have a hard time believing it.
Looks like Cincy has $1 million coming to them:
Never.So....when does this current cycle of madness come to a close? The 16th?
I'd like to stop seeing the word elite and replace it with damn good.ISU has a chance to be elite in the trenches. Wild.
Well that's brutal then. I was thinking there might be a calm in the storm. Wishful thinking. Thanks, Dandy!Never.
The 16th is the entry deadline for non-CFP teams. Portal entrants do not have to be committed by the 16th. CFP participants can enter the portal a week after the 16th.
(IIRC)
I would LOVE to see ISU pre-negotiate buyouts. The NFL allows for draft compensation for losing a free agent, why should CFB getting NIL money via a buyout if you sign someone from another school.I actually like the idea of buyouts for the school losing the player.
Old and busted: Three man frontISU has a chance to be elite in the trenches. Wild.
It's practical if someone contracts with a player for a years worth of NIL and they bolt to a new school after five months that they should forego an amount greater than their monthly payment for the service they would have provided for creating the issue. Lets call it 20% of the total value of the deal for the year.I would LOVE to see ISU pre-negotiate buyouts. This could be a HUGE revenue producer for small schools as well, who are glorified farm systems now
