I wouldn't say "a lot" anymore. We have 75 confirmed players now. Need only 10 to get to 85. Because of Title IX stuff, we likely aren't going to get much more than 85.

Not all the transfers we signed are on scholarship though. For example the native Iowa kicker that transferred here from WSU is a walkon.

I wouldn't say "a lot" anymore. We have 75 confirmed players now. Need only 10 to get to 85. Because of Title IX stuff, we likely aren't going to get much more than 85.

We have approx 70 confirmed now with a few potential holdovers we haven’t heard definitively yet. And true on the 85. Although, depending on the money situation, you can always give a chunk of rev share $$ to a “walk on”. Not the same as being on scholarship, but still a way to bring in a few more guys you want but may not have technically have scholarship space for.

Still 105 spots to work with and pay even though there are only 85 schollies.

Yes it is. We can't afford to add the extra scholarships for women's sports which we would be required to do.

Yes it is. We can't afford to add the extra scholarships for women's sports which we would be required to do.

We aren’t heavy on women’s scholarships compared to what we need to be.

I don't know the exact number of scholarship players but theoretically, yes.
