***Official NFL Draft Thread***

Why does ESPN have such a huge, throbbing boner for Manti Te'o? He is a slow moron who had a good regular season.

Because he played for Notre Dame and was a media darling all season. If that bizarre story had happened to a top prospect from Iowa State or a similar school, ESPN would have crucified the kid and had their experts going round the clock bashing him. ESPN has lost all professional integrity. Watch NFL Network's coverage

just like when they had a huge throbbing boner for tebow, and matt leinart before him. Goes to show how little ESPN draft "guru's" know.

As a Lions fan, I am not crazy about who they got so far...
I think we've had a great draft!
Ansah has a higher bust potential then I would like at #5 but he also has a great capability to become all-pro. I've heard several comparisons between him and JP-P. Would be pretty satisfied if he lived up to that I suppose.

Slay had the best 40 time of the corners at the combine. Sounds like through the middle part of the season teams tried picking on him but by the end of the year decided that wasn't such a good idea and picked on Banks (drafted in 2nd as well) instead.

The experts on ESPN and NFL Network had nothing but good things to say about Warford. Sounds like he's a brawler in the middle who can get out and block down field. A quote I heard was "Once he gets a hold of you, its done." Nothing to dislike about that analysis. He obviously has his problems as he was available in the 3rd but sounds like he was a solid pick.
