I am starting to wonder myself. He, among others, simply don't play hard enough for long enough.

Sad, perhaps, but he might as well start at PG. He doesn't have to play start-to-finish. If nothing else, the team looks more energized and has some semblance of half-court continuity when he's in.
The hope for an upper division finish in conference rest on Allen living up to the hype he came in with. If he doesn't step it up, he may go down as the most over-hyped incoming Cyclone of all time. So far he just hasn't been the player we were led to believe by Lutz, etc.
Looks like Ejim responded well to Fred using the bench as a motivator. A few other guys may need the same.

Babb is severely limited offensively. He does seem to give a pretty good effort defensively most of the time, and we have some guys that don't. So I don't want to be too hard on him. He just needs help to get his shot

Why do we just let the opposing post player come down the floor, park his *** on the block and allow them to get the ball? Unreal. And it happens every game.
This is what happens when you get a 16-point lead early in the second half, then go to sleep for 10 minutes.
