Effort is a whole different discussion. Iowa's effort in this half is crazy good right now. But they are hitting big shots that we were missing. Jorbo's three and Moss's last three were examples of making the big shot.

No doubt they are hitting shots but two things every team can do - play with effort and not take stupid shots - are things ISU failed to do with any consistency

I clearly stated in my post the effort is night and day, so I get that. In the end though you have to make shots. And we went a quarter of the game without making one at one point. We missed some solid open looks when we did get them too.

Dont like them, but iowa played a great second half. Their effort was tremendous. They fight in a way (almost literally) that we just didn't this year.
