***Official March Madness Thread***

The Michigan State engineering department just got a shout out for getting Nick Ward back on the court.


Which makes me wonder...where was our engineering department when Solo’s leg fell partway off. Good job dorks, you failed us all.

Minnesota doing an Iowa State impression.
A big problem I see with Minnesota is the hair....looks like Prince and the Revolution doing "Let's go Crazy". They need a unity-project haircut. Men's haircuts.

Baylor needed to shoot as well or better than they did v Syracuse and get every 50/50 call, especially inside where without Tristan Clark the Bears just don't have anyone who can match up with the Zags bigs... Sadly for BU the opposite has happened.... GU has gotten ever call and Baylor would miss the ocean from the beach

They played a very simple, controlled, grind-it-out style on offense which is kind of beautiful in its own way. It relied on Mason a lot though. They should be able to replace him next year with their sit out transfers and Butler, though.

Dirty, what are your thoughts on the Richie Pitino hair plug situation? I feel like he got hair plugs and they accidentally inserted a couple into his forehead.
 
Guess they found their stones at halftime. Down 6 with momentum.

Haven't been that impressed with Gonzaga at times. Would be nice to see Baylor sic em.
 
That's a block?

2 of Vital's 4 fouls have been called on him for laying down on the floor.... several seconds after being knocked down, he gets stepped on and rather than call the travel, the same ref has called it a block twice

Yeah, that look is wierd. I noticed that when Iowa played Minnesota and wondered how that affects recruiting....you are Mom and Dad and that wierd hair comes and sits on your couch and you just want to do something about it. Pluck it? put on a sweat band? Richie is talking up Minnesota's academics and how they almost invented the digital computer and all you can think is "hairs, hairs, hairs....."
RICK pitino had wonderful hair management....he kept that male pattern balding spot in check for decades and looked like one of the Four Seasons in 1968...or John Travolta in 1978....both good looks. The ladies and secretaries at Louisville liked it too.
I always wish more teams would do the team mohawk for playoffs. Hilarious when the 2A Iowa white boy high schoolers do it. Richie could do it too and have those hairs greased back.

I've never understood the Drew is sketchy thing.... he was very aggressive early on and Barnes, Knight and Self were used to 2 easy wins a year from a BU coach, not one who would go head to head with them on the recruiting trail. He definitely hurt their feelings... I think he has a pretty good relationship and respect from the other 9 Big 12 coaches now.

Private athletic departments are always more sketchy than public ones. It didn’t help that he was getting top talent to Waco after one of your players killed the other. And for god’s sake, you all didn’t exactly break any stereotypes with Ken Starr and all the raping.
