Agreed. A team like Texas, you have to get up on first....can't play from behind on the road. With our stagnant offense, lets just hope to cause turnovers.
Our defense is not as good as we thought either, Texas making it look easy, Oklahoma made a mockery out of us. Given Knott is gone but we got to do better than this.
It is painful how lacking our offense is in size, speed, and intelligence (football IQ). Massive upgrades in all of those areas are an absolute must if we want to compete in this conference week in and week out.
The defense was bad against Oklahoma and doesn't look any better in that first series. We also give up a lot of yards but usually get lucky with turnovers. Thats a trend I don't like.
You can see the anguish on Rhoads face......almost as bad as some of Chizik's second season looks.
Something has got to give.
