Ant was able to participate fully in the NFL combine. So most of his numbers should be there

Interview with Vance was VERY eye opening. Proves that ISU put way too much weight on him and it negatively impacted his play. Have to wonder if the same thing happened to Rose?

Vance said he’s lost 20 lbs, and now feels great…. lighter, quicker, faster, etc. You know that scouts and his agent etc must have urged him to lose the weight.

Also have to wonder if this kind of thing led to CMC firing the S & C staff?

I am sure it didn’t help, all position groups got noticeably slower and the lines didn’t seem to get much if any stronger. It was a very weird thing because that strength coach was very highly thought of while at Pitt.

I think the combination of extremely quick twitch and pretty damn fast for his size (paired with a great motor) should get him into the first round. Not many dudes possess all three.

Agree 100%. Based on everything we see on the field he’s an elite speed rusher, which probably has a lot more to do with quick twitch reaction and quick acceleration and less with top end speed. I think it’s pretty clear he has all the speed he needs to be elite.
