I voted for ISU, but the Stanley cup is the hardest trophy to win in all of sports and in the history of the cup ( and we are talking a lot of history) no 8th seed has ever won the cup , they set a record for most consecutive road play off victories.. It was a pretty amazing accomplishment.

That said most people have already forgotten who won the award.

I think I read that the Kings were favored over 2 other NHL teams to begin with...soo... I don't really think it qualifies as the biggest upset. Iowa State was a 26 point underdog
