****Official Class of 2016 Recruiting Thread****

How so? Seems like everyone wanted Malou, and no one wants this kid.

I might be remembering it wrong, but I think out of HS there were not a lot of schools pursuing him because of academic issues (not his fault; just ended up in a bad situation with ABCD prep). His recruitment when he was in HS was a bit of a mystery, kind of like what's going on with Kostas right now

There was an article from October where he was saying it was between iowa state and Memphis. I could try finding it but I just woke up.

Well, October is a long time ago in terms of recruiting. St. John's could easily be a favorite by now.

Yeah, maybe. Or he's just talking about particular colleges Cuz it sounds sexier than prep school.

Where'd you get this from?
According to the CB newspaper, it is a sprained wrist. He was 6-6 on 3Ps in the first half. He reminds me some of Medford for Baylor who played in the same juco conference (at IHCC). Medford may be a little more explosive/better finisher, but Jackson imo has a better ability to play off the ball (hopefully alongside Morris).

Another loss came when sophomore Donovan Jackson, an Iowa State recruit, left the game early in the second half with a sprained wrist.
“Donovan scored 22 points, and he made six of our eight 3-point baskets,” Iowa Western coach Jim Morris said

Opposing coach's comment on ISU recruit
We noticed that they had a hard time handling the pick-and-roll, and it also brings Thik Bohl--the big (six-foot-eight) skinny guy that blocks everything--away from the basket,”

WE WANT KOSTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a question to the anti Kostas people. Why is everyone so against taking a kid with so much upside? We are not kentucky or Kansas. U til we are we have to get som3 of our players based on potential and hope they pan out.

Depending on what our scholarship situation is I'd rather try to get a graduate transfer big.

Our coaching staff isn't recruiting him for a reason

Who is "so" against it? It is tough to be "so" for it when it keeps being reported our recruitment of him is weak right now.

I am pretty confident if he was offered and accepted CF would be extremely pro Kostas. Then hype would be very high.

If we end up having a few spot open up, maybe we offer, but we have serious needs for immediate help next year. A project that is rumored to be a qualifying risk is not exactly what we need.

I don't think anyone is against it. Just some like to point out that we are not recruiting him even though Kostas says that we are.
