Official Bowl Watch thread

December here is overrated (then again, so is most anytime of the year, but it takes living here to understand that :) ). December is cold just like anywhere else in the north. In the upper 30s or lower 40s. It's basically like Chicago in December, but 5 degrees warmer, and maybe less bi-polar weather from day to day, but not a ton different.

upper 30's low 40's in late December is balmy. :) I'd just like to see New York lit up for Christmas. No way in hell I'd ever live there.

It's only lit up in Rockefeller Center and maybe the holiday market at Bryant Park - otherwise it's the same old dirty Manhattan, but even worse if there's snow on the ground. Manhattan is a lot nicer on Upper West (where I live) and Upper East sides (in some parts for each - not every part is nice). Lived in both Chicago and NYC - more of a fan of Chicago for actual living over NYC. Much nicer place, but NYC is not bad if you make adequate money. Otherwise, definitely not worth it if you don't. And by adequate I mean at least $135K for Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn for just a single person ($200K minimum if you want a luxury apartment and be able to save).

I love the match up. I just didn't want a power team like KSU. We match up very well against an offense like theirs.
yes and they arent great at running the ball period. this is a bad match up for wsu and good for isu. we got lucky with our line woes getting wsu.

this is really a great draw for isu. the camping world vs acc was going to bode much tougher. the zone works much better when we dont have to deal with a strong running game. both teams will pull up the wvu tape for pointers. neither team is built well for inclement weather so we will be seeing wsu at their finest. same with isu.

Agree, NY is just cold and dirty in the winter. I like the summer when its warm and dirty.

Wazzu offense is WVU 2.0. Same identity, pocket passer. Mix in some runs but try to score 60 ppg through the air
