***OFFICIAL 2026 WEATHER THREAD***

This storm is huge. We had 80mph winds and incredible rain/thunder come through Naperville around 4pm and the squall line was half the length of Illinois. Multiple squall lines too. Same storm producing tornadoes in MO KS IA and Wi.

It got breezy hate but not bad. @NWICY HQ got hit hard.big trees down. Must have slid just to our north after that.

Has there been enough rain lately for the Iowa farmers? Or do they still need a bit more?
Really depends where you are South of 80 I would generalize as all good 80 to 30 good 30 to 20 pretty good. 20 N to the Mn border ok but the NW corner is drier than they would like. All crops look fine that I've heard about it's the subsoil moisture people are worried about.
