***Official 2026 NCAA Tournament Thread***

That it would be unlucky and would suck, but why would they go out of their way to send the top 2 seed further away? life isn't always fair. Florida got the closest site to their campus.
Florida also got to play their first two games in their home state. Not that that mattered much. *******!

Well, let’s see if that holds up under cross-examination… They lost to Arizona by six, Duke by one, and UCONN by four all teams better than Iowa?
What's your point? the discussion didn't involve iowa at all, so no idea what you're getting at.

Now Iowa fans are trying to take over selling Busch light in cities. How dare they

Iowa definitely appears to have got the Xs and Os grinder coach.
Indiana was an old and experienced team and they were so mediocre this year.
Iowa was mediocre all year too, no different than any result from the Fran era. Then they ran into a run of teams that I'm not even sure AI could compute an easier path. Playing teams at seeds that just have absolutely no business being there is such a wildly absurd path.

The universe works in mysterious ways. This clearly signals something insanely evil and bad is coming humanity's way. I'll keep betting on them to win because if hell is gonna freeze over, I'm gonna make a few bucks at least. Actually, a lot of bucks at this rate.

The last 2 games the Hoks have managed to play against teams where their own coaches gave the games away.
TJ is too good to be that stupid.
Not so fast. He almost succumbed to McCollums genius in Ames a few months ago. 4 point margin is all. I'd be uncomfortable as hell having to play them again. TJ is great, but he is not X's and O's guy.

Then send them to DC, which is further away? Again, you don't seem to understand how this works. They can't change the sites after they seed the tournament.
I get it, the sites are predetermined but, I don't know, maybe put Houston in another region and don't give a 2 seed who was ranked lower than your 1 seed homecourt advantage.

Fred has never been a very good head coach X’s and O’s wise IMO. At ISU he just had some really loaded teams talentwise. Outside of those few years…. he’s done nothing anywhere else he’s been. Some say he did this season, but I saw them play quite a bit this year and was never impressed.
They had their best season in program history. Credit where it's due.

Though I really did bet on ISU to win it all my real ceiling was losing to Houston. I still don’t think ISU (or Arizona) will beat them, so it’d kinda be great if they kept this up.
