If he's Scott Steiner's kid, that'd make Bron his cousin.
Oh is it's Scott's kid? I thought it was his brothers kid. My wrong on that one. So he is little papa pump?

Yeah, Brandon is one of Scott's kids, Bron is one of Rick's.Oh is it's Scott's kid? I thought it was his brothers kid. My wrong on that one. So he is little papa pump?
Yeah, agree he may not be protoypical height for a center, and at present he doesn't shoot well enough for the NBA. Thus, he could get a bag next year, if not at KU then somewhere else in college. I think Bedunga will end up playing the four in the pros, but that means he has to develop at least a consistent mid-range shot.I believe I saw in the ESPN article he's projected to be a mid 2nd round pick, so no guarantee he makes an NBA team.
Guys a great college center, but not really what the NBA is looking for. The Arizona center is more NBA prototype.
This dude is the son of former pro wrestler Scott Steiner.
Rick's son played college football and signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent but didn't make the cut. He's wrestling now in WWF or whatever it's called these days.Oh is it's Scott's kid? I thought it was his brothers kid. My wrong on that one. So he is little papa pump?
Maybe he's gotten quicker since his Freshman year, but he was just sooo slow to react and flat footed. You can make up for that at New Mexico I think by being a massive human, but not sure that works against Big 12 post players. Seems like a recipe for a lot of fouls..
Shocked to see those 3 pt numbers though. Made only 5 fewer than Toure on half the attempts. Props to the big guy!
I thought I read that Trump's plan is to allow players to move only once, and limited to 5 years max eligibility (I presume to allow for redshirting). Outside of that, there would be no limits on NIL. I think there's also an element to provide some kind of guarantee for non-revenue producing/Olympic sports. Each of the P4 commissioners seem to like it, so who knows.I’m not sure where to post this, so I’ll just post it here. About Portal and NIL.
If the departing University received compensation (20%?) of whatever $,$$$,$$$ the player receives, it would curtail the moves a bit.
And if not, at least the University gets a piece of the Pie.
Just a thought?
Maybe it’s been discussed?
I don’t know. But Money Talks….both ways.
Yes, I haven’t gone over the proposal much.I thought I read that Trump's plan is to allow players to move only once, and limited to 5 years max eligibility (I presume to allow for redshirting). Oh no, it's been completely unsustainable the entire time. It just took longer than expected to finally crack. It was never “unsustainable” to have bloated AD budgets that dwarf the Rev Share $$$, but now it’s “unsustainable” to pay the workers what they’re worth. Typical.
Can definitely see that. They made so much money without having to pay the players for so long that there’s no putting the toothpaste back in the tube in terms of yearly budget to cover the new $20 mil. I just think they got really fat and can’t go back. I’ve always thought if the players had started to be paid in the 90s it would have been more reasonable and grown more slowly so universities could budget for it better today.Oh no, it's been completely unsustainable the entire time. And then we added an additional $20.5M of unfunded spend out of nowhere on top of the existing issues.
That's definitely part of it. Pro sports salaries then versus now easily show how much athlete values have massively grown over time, and it aligns pretty well with the internet coming on too.Can definitely see that. Have heard mentions of both Isaiah Johnson (Colorado guard), and Tre Singleton (Northwestern forward). Is it realistic to think we can land both? Both only being Sophomore's next yr is so huge too. Big fan of the Johnson kid, but have to imagine he has a long list of suitors.
1. Johnson
2. Toure & Batemon
3. Milan
4. Singleton
5. Buchanan
That lineup would have little to no dropoff from last year imo. Batemon comes off the bench early in the CuJo role for instant offense. Then mix in 1 more transfer SF from a lower level for spot minutes. No clue if this is realistic, but would be an absolute homerun if TJ could pull it off.
AD's making more money than they spent was sustainable. ADs now spending more $$ than they bring in because of revenue sharing, is not.It was never “unsustainable” to have bloated AD budgets that dwarf the Rev Share $$$, but now it’s “unsustainable” to pay the workers what they’re worth. Typical.
Señor Rock had a good showing with huge improvements this year here at the Pit in the Burque. He has become a fan favorite and is a really good kid too.Maybe he's gotten quicker since his Freshman year, but he was just sooo slow to react and flat footed.
