Hopefully they are prepared.
I've taken groups out into the BWCA during a polar vortex 10 years ago.
My wristwatch stopped working due to the cold.
Good gear made it a success.

Snow camping?

Well it's February soon and temps will go up, and snow won't feel like it's been around forever at least.

The twin cities forecast is below zero temps for 60 consecutive hours. And my kid is at a scout camp for the weekend!
I just bought one last week, and I've set the humidity level at 30%. Funny how the colder it gets outside, the more condensation I get on the inside of my windows.

One kid in a different troop got frostbite on a toe. The trip had to leave one car behind at the camp as the battery died and it wouldn’t start even after trying to jump start it

I imagine that is going to be some paperwork

Damn going to be cold tomorrow, on the road and doing deliveries. Sigh.
