Brown probably saved himself from a trip to Iowa today. Hope he takes a step in the right direction now otherwise following up this outing with a bad one will put his spot in the rotation back up for discussion again.

Hopefully this is a turning point. Having two power arms in the rotation gives us a nice mix. Rea can be a nice swing man when Shota returns.Brown probably saved himself from a trip to Iowa today. It’s massive that he’s come in and held down third. Now you can focus all your trade pieces on pitching. This Shaw feller seems like a keeper.
Agreed. After his 1st stint I thought 3B was a need the at the trade deadline. Starting pitching is going to be what takes this team to the finish line. Spending prospect capital on top end starting pitching even someone that is more than a rental would be ideal. It’s massive that he’s come in and held down third. When he starts turning on pitches more I think he’s an 800+ OPS somewhere along the lines of 250/350/450 guyAgreed. After his 1st stint I thought 3B was a need the at the trade deadline.
