I imagine logistically its pretty hard to just move plans ahead a day to leave at the last minute. It's not just getting the players here. There's a whole lot that goes into that.
I was going to say, I'm pretty sure I've already gotten 4-6 inches in Beaverdale and it's supposed to keep snowing for several more hours.
Re-scheduling flights, buses, hotels, meals on like a 1-day notice. Plus making the whole team sit around a hotel for 2 days before playing the game. Probably not worth it. OSU likely would rather just re-schedule the game than have to travel here 2 days early.
Wonder if Sunday is possible? Could the wrestling meet move to a different facility like Lied?
Yeah that is not a group you want to piss off. They may juggle around times but zero chance they move it to Lied IMO.
the best bet would be move the wrestling meet up to noon and play basketball a little later than 5pm. IMO
Ehhh….if the basketball game gets postponed it won’t be Iowa State’s decision at all. It’ll be the Big 12 (and only if OSU can’t get here) and they won’t give a **** about a wrestling meet.
No sport is more important right now to ISU than MBB, you move anyone in the way of them playing a game
Its hilarious how everyone thinks you can just move these events around last minute. That's not how these things work. Just think for a minute about everything that goes into event planning.

Yeah, they reschedule the game for a later date, not shuffle everything around and try to do it the next day.
If they don’t play tomorrow, it’s not getting rescheduled Sunday, it will get rescheduled a few weeks from now. Probably on a random Thursday in February or something
Looking back on the tragedies at Oklahoma State, it isn't "stupid" to be cautious.
