Interesting.
Considering what KU already got through the portal, that probably won't sting much.
If only they made it clear that was a requirement for college athletes. Or at least get the normal athlete pass just for attending once in a while.
Seems like this could be the lawsuit that removes the academic restrictions for college athletes.
Interesting. If that happens at the college level, is there anything preventing it at the high school level? Welcome to European style club sports.

UCF is certainly making moves in the portal. Not sure how it will all come together, but credit to them for trying. I thought they would just accept being a bottom dweller coming into the league, but they seem to be attempting to up their game.

He wasn't even a starter at Drake until the starter got hurt. He came in and did a good job but used those 10 games to get a Kansas offer.
i think he can be a decent role player for them
- he's a 6th year senior
- he had 15 pts 5 asst vs Mississippi State this past year before getting hurt
- his last 15 games at KU he averaged 5 ppg in 13 mpg
my guess is WVU is hoping he can give them 15 min and 6-7 ppg
That and some players are system guys. Seems like a good pickup based on their history.
Probably not but having an experienced PG who DeVries knows and trust to implement his system if a good use of a scholarship.
