They are year ahead of schedule but if they can make it with this patchwork pitching staff and 7 regulars that are rookies that would be something special.
The Reds may fall just short of the playoffs this year but they've made baseball enjoyable for me to watch again.
Although I am a Brewers fan, I agree, the Reds were a fun team to watch - especially offensively. If you guys shore up your pitching staff this offseason, I think the Reds will be a playoff team next year.
If they can weather the early injuries and suspensions this feels like a playoff year.

So, the Reds just fied David Bell. Bummer on that, as he is not the problem. I think he is a good manager, and the Reds made an error there. At least, I like him, for what that is worth. Time will tell, I suppose.
