***Official 2023 Chicago Cubs Thread***

crazy seeing the difference in win probably at first pitch on ESPN game tracker tonight vs last night, like a 40 point swing.

Fly it! Huge one tomorrow.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I’m a little puzzled why the Brewers didn’t have the infield in when Belli had the RBI groundout. Especially when runs are at a premium with the wind blowing in. I’ll take it

Just get it done tomorrow, don’t give a **** how it happens. Wish I could be there.

If Hendricks keeps us in the game after the first 2 innings, I like our chances. Much less confident if he takes the crowd out of it early on.

With it being the first inning, I think you protect against the big inning. Runs are at a premium but you gotta get 1.

Original Cub draftee Josh Donaldson on waivers, pick him up and waive Wisdom? Better glove at 3B and just as much power. Better K rate. Awful BA. Why not?

We have three better options at AAA then Donaldson.

PCA CF, Bellinger full-time 1B, Candelario/ Madrigal 3B

MERVIS 1B, Candelario 1B/3B, Madrigal 3B

CANARIO DH
Yeah at 37 the drop-off is probably physical and not a mental thing or a slump
