I wish I could, but my employer doesn't give a **** about its employees, so even in a crazy snow storm during a pandemic, we'll be here in person, gosh darn it.Husband and I have both made arrangements to work from home tomorrow. I hate driving in this stuff, so I'm relieved.
Not for us that have an Ariens Compact 24, this is kind of storm we live for. This sucks donkey balls.
Is this where I say mine is bigger but still hate snow? Not for us that have an Ariens Compact 24, this is kind of storm we live for.

I hate snow also but would be lying if I said I didn't get excited to get my toy out and throw snow around the neighborhood. Is this where I say mine is bigger but still hate snow?
I’ll guess Des Moines is more like 3-6”
Good point. Lately it seems like winter has been starting later, and ending later.
I think I am approximately in the 4 to 9 range. How can it be that wide-ranging? There is a hell of a difference between 4" and 9".
3 inch increments? LolWife just told me she was hoping for 6". hmmm...
so you’re hoping for a good 8”???Not for us that have an Ariens Compact 24, this is kind of storm we live for.
I’m not sure the data shows that or not. We’ve had 3 or so later springs the past few years, but don’t remember that many. Last spring in March April seemed pretty normal with normal planting.I've been saying this for a while. Winter starts later and spring starts later. we need to readjust the calendar.

My research is based on my unscientific study of my racing schedule. Races scheduled for late March and early to mid April have been getting cancelled in the last few years do to cold and snowy conditions at that time.
Nobody needs to drive to Muscatine at 5am on a Saturday.
