Creighton is tied with Holy Cross, Weber State and Montana for the worst record all-time in the tournament against AP Top 10 teams with a record of 0-8.
Highest-scoring combined-scoring half of the Sweet 16 so far (64) ... hit it with about 4:11 remaining.
Creighton has the worst record all-time in the tournament on Sundays at 0-5.
Creighton is 0-3 in the Sweet Sixteen tied with Southern Illinois and Miami, Florida. Only Miami, Ohio (0-4) and Texas A&M (0-6) have worse records.
FWIW, combined scores in first half in Sweet 16, so far.

If Creighton somehow comes back to win this game. (I don't think they will), it will be their first Elite Eight since 1941. The 80-year drought between Elite Eight appearances would break the record held by Baylor. Here are the longest droughts between successive Elite Eights:
- Baylor – 60 (1950 – 2010)
- Iowa State – 56 (1944 – 2000)
- Stanford – 56 (1942 – 1998)
- Loyola Chicago – 55 (1963 – 2018)
If Gonzaga wins, it will be the first time they have won consecutive Sweet Sixteen games in school history.
Gonzaga is really good. Even with 10 minutes left in the game they were just toying with Creighton. Frightening.
No team is unbeatable, but Gonzaga is head and shoulders better than everyone, including Baylor and Michigan

Every year the NCAA tournament reminds me you that you can win games without defense during the season, but after the first round of the postseason everybody gets after it pretty hard on the opponent's end of the floor.
