I wonder how effective he can be and for how many minutes if he does try to play tonight. Maybe 20 minutes, 25 tops? He's coming off a long layoff.

**** went south fast there, he'll get all the run he can handle with the Knicks.

I'll bet you see, 36 minutes out of him tonight and 26 points. Warriors win

They're up in arms about him not playing.
If he is not 100%, which is obvious, I have no idea why he is playing. He's a free agent this summer and Golden State isn't exactly loyal to KD. It is and always will be Steph's team. Let him take the fall for this. The GM was mocking KD during the Championship Parade last summer. He's likely leaving this summer. Why risk it?

It's a tricky spot for the Raptors. Up 3-1 with a chance to close it out at home is a great place to be in, but they don't want to give any momentum to the Warriors. I think Kawhi carries them across the finish line tonight in a really close game.

Jrue Holiday to the Pacers!
Did you read the ESPN link? David Griffin wants to keep Jrue. He wants to keep Jrue and draft Zion then acquire an All-Star, a potential All-Star and draft picks.

I read that as, someone with an All-Star that wants out needs to be available to go to NO but that team has to be okay with the young talent of the Knicks or Lakers. Maybe the Wizards?

Beal to NO. B Ingram to NO.
Lonzo to Wizards.
AD to Lakers.

Or let's get wet and wild.

KD stays in GS. They need cap savings because they have to pay Klay too..Draymond to NO?

Nope, didn't read one word. Just wishful thinking.

Id love to see Kawhi win a championship in Toronto too, but this is a perfect storm for the Warriors to come back too for one last hurrah!

If Kevin Durant is fully healthy, which I imagine he is, Toronto's entire scheme has to be changed. They now have to account for the best offensive weapon in the league and a pretty good defender that is tall and long. I'm overly excited for tonight's game and can't wait to see how it turns out.

I don't know about a perfect storm...their depth is still trashed, Klay is still less than 100%, who knows what they'll get out of KD, and Curry looked gassed in Game 4. Plus they're on the road.

But conventional wisdom is that defending champs are really difficult to knock off. I'd be surprised if Toronto gets anything less than the Warriors' best punch. Whether or not that's enough to get them over the hump tonight, I guess we'll see.

I don't buy that he's at 100%. If he was that close he would have played Game 4. I'm guessing he'll be at least a little limited, although if he provided a little burst early while the adrenaline is still running it wouldn't be a shocker. But I doubt we're seeing KD at 100% tonight.

Why does Washington make that trade?

That's probably true, but a 80-90% KD is still better than almost every single bench player on the Warriors, and probably better than a fully healthy Iggy. Klay looked pretty fine the other night and he even said the injury isn't that bad and he feels fine. If the Warriors take this game, they get a break before coming back home and I would like them in that game too with their original lineup. Then it'll all come down to Game 7 in Toronto for the title and it seems like it will be even.

John Wall has the worst contract in the league. Beal is their only asset but he isn't enough. They need to deal him for multiple assets, similar to how the Pacers flipped PG and got better from it.

I agree in theory but Lonzo Ball is not that asset.

Way up there
KD clearly makes them a different team but Kerr needs to do something, he's getting out coached in nearly every facet. If GS plays the same way they've played the last 3 weeks, they'll lose tonight. As great as Curry, Thompson and KD are, GS is at their best when they let Green dictate how they play. He's the closest thing to a PG they have, Toronto plays too smart defensively to rely on chucking without passing the ball around.
