Whoa that would be a huge one
He could offset Nicholas Baer nicely.

Grad transfer. 6-5 wing. Averaged 18 PPG, 9 RPG, and shot 47% from 3 last year.

Wow. I will be very disappointed of we don't make a legitimate run at this guy. Exactly what we need. I sorta feel bad for these mid majors. They're really getting gutted this season.

Wonder if he follows his coach to VCU
The guy could obviously identify talent. There are quite a few guys leaving that program that could have a big-time impact at the mid major level and Evans looks like he could be a starting PG at the P5 level, not blue blood level but he could be a mid table Big12 or Big10 team's competent starting PG, easily.

Holy ****, just what the doctor ordered. YES PLEASE!
Of course this guy will get offers from blue bloods too so good luck.

Yeah don't like our chances with him. Not only would we be competing with blue bloods but with foreign guys (especially when they're that good) you have to worry about them just going pro in Europe. Also he's transferring after a coaching change so he may even want to follow his coach.

Pretty sure this was one of Prohms first offers when he got to Iowa State.

How does transferring after a redshirt year work? Does he just lose a year of eligibility. If so it seems like a Juco year might benefit him.

He'll be a redshirt sophomore wherever he goes next. Not really any different than Clayton Custer or other players who didn't redshirt their first year but didn't play. I mean I guess he's out the 69 minutes of garbage time Custer got but that's about it
