From Chicago and ISU recruited white for a while.

@CollegeHoopNews Georgetown forward Paul White will transfer according to reports. HUGE BigEast news. #Hoyas #Transfer

I remember recruiting this guy. Hopefully they call and get in on him early. Was thinking ESPN had our offer showing at the time, but looks like Rivals doesn't.

My thoughts as well. He'd be best suited finding a JUCO that will let him redshirt and then go d1 for final 2 seasons.

Since he just finished up his sophomore year, not sure what a JUCO will do for him academically. I would hope he had a school in mind before he decided to transfer at this late date. If not with all the spring transfers, my guess is there are a lot of schools with acholarships available. Plus there are JUCO/HS kids who don't show sometimes at the last minute.

My thinking was, since it's so late, usually transfers around this time have to sit out the fall semester like McKay. So I think going to JUCO and redshirting would save a half semester of eligibility.

I may be wrong, too many unknowns
Are you referring to Lard or White?

I don't think that's true. Either way, he would be sitting out this year, and it has to be a full year. Then he would have 2 to play.

If he waited until school starts at Georgetown and then transfers, he would have to sit out all of this year, and 1st semester next year and only have 1.5 years to play.

Exactly like McKay and Burton right?

I guess I was assuming classes in the summer count, and that he was enrolled.

Like I said, I'm just speculating. I reserve the right to be incorrect.
