Yeah we'll all be much happier around here when the Ducks are passing around that big beautiful cup! :smile:
Well, I guess we can take solace in that at least one of us will be happy tonight outside of the Hoiberg stuff.
Either way I'll be feeling good (drunk) but let's not get ahead of ourselves with the happy stuff. I do know for sure that this Game 7 will be a great distraction for everybody. Gonna be a hell of a game!
Unfortunately, I think the Stanley Cup final is in the Western Conference Finals again (not as pronounced as last year though). Tampa seems exciting though, so maybe the finals will be better than last year.
Go Ducks. Sorry Blackhawk fans, but I'd be a pretty bad Redwings fan if I rooted for Chicago :smile:
Buh buh buh I thought Red Wings fans didn't care about the Blackhawks now that they're in separate conferences... (or at least that's the lie that everyone in the Detroit metro area keeps telling me)
I don't go out of my way to hate on the Blackhawks anymore like I used to, but I won't usually root for them either. It's kind of a weird dilemma for me because the Blackhawks have a lot of fans here in central Iowa, and as a hockey fan I enjoy the buzz about hockey around here when they're doing well, but it's also for a team I don't root for.
On the other hand, I don't know if I can get behind an Anaheim-Tampa Stanley cup either.

Great shot by Kessler followed up by a bone head play. You can't break someone's stick in half and not expect to get a slash call.
Up by 3 goals and starting the third with a 5 on 3, but still not comfortable yet...sure beats a tight game though.
