***** Offical Iowa State vs Texas A&M Game Day Thread ****

These guys are passing the ball around, making good decisions, and making their shots for the most part.

This is the team we were looking for. Maybe they finally hit their stride.

Rolls Royce White. I like it.

WOW is all I can say. This team is firing on all cylinders right now. Now they just need to keep this intensity in the second half and not let TAM get back into it. Keep the pedal down and don't let up.

Chemistry,
Sometimes playing to the level of the competition,
Take your pick. But when they do put the pieces together they are damn fun to watch!

Go CYCLONES!!!!

Yeah, probably that too. More time playing with each other against actual D1 competition and not pick up games at Lied Rec and against last year's team.

I think we're finally starting to play like a team. There has been a lot less selfish play than I've seen all season.

Wow. That's all I have to say.

I have watched a lot of CBB over the years, and this team is passing the "eye test" as a tournament team. But on Wednesday, I was embarrassed at how we looked - lackadaisical, Chris Allen making stupid decision after stupid decision, playing out-of-control...right now, the team is showing us what they COULD do. But, can they start to do it with any consistency? If not, it could be a frustrating season - but if they do, maybe we can break into the upper half of the league. 16.5 more games to go, though.

It's good to finally hear some love from the commentators. Keep it up Clones! Royce is straight up dominating this game. His passing is something else!

This half and most of the Texas game, just shows what this team is capable of if they put in the effort on BOTH ENDS of the court! Hope they use this as a building block to a great Big 12s season. Ticks me off that we didn't play this hard in the non-conference season where we had some pathetic games against teams we should have either beat or beaten by more than we did.

I"m not saying which is better. The point is, how can we play this well against Texas and Texas A&M (so far) but lose to Drake, and almost lose to a few others who are low majors

Announcers made the comment that ISU didn't look this good in nonconference and maybe they were bored.

That's not a foul sir... he's just an animal.

It really wasn't a foul, it's a gifted athlete matched up against an entire team who doesn't know how to rebound.

If we don't beat them today and in Ames it'll be pretty frustrating. Their RPI around 200 is not lying right now.
