Texas Tech forced us to start our offense further away from the hoop than we normally do. Conditt/Kunc we’re catching the ball 3 feet behind the 3 point line and we could never get anything going to the hoop.

We can beat anybody in the country if we hit 3’s or we can be in a 40 minute dog fight that looks like a junior high final score
This is true. I swear on half our possessions we kept getting further away from the basket.
Need effective dribble penetration.

I actually like our motion offense. Sure beats the sit around and fire a contested 3 pointer we had last year or see in the NBA (but NBA has elite shooters). Our offense gets all players involved and factors in their defensive energy which has been fantastic. Great job to the coaches and players. But as we have seen recently, the book is out on what to do against us. We need to try some possessions to mix it up.

I agree with others that pointed out that Tech and Baylor were a bad matchup. They are 5th and 8th in defensive efficiency respectively in KenPom (we are 4th!). But Jackson State caused problems too and they are 102nd. No disrespect to them, but if they can cause problems, the rest of the Big 12 will too.
