It sounds like maybe some of you have tried the link in the email. When I tried it did not work as it did not recognize my email (even though that is how I got the info) as a valid email. Anyone else have issues?

Been thinking of getting Roku but the old Sony HD TV we have is so old it doesn't have the HDMI input. I notice they all use the HDMI input except the Roku 1 - which uses the 3 cable input but is NOT HD. I don't think so, LOL.

Time to get a new TV, I guess. The old 42" seemed so HUGE back in the day, too.

Volleyball coverage was very good the past 2 years on Cyclones. TV. We watched almost every time it was on. This hopefully has a friendlier user interface, with an apparent-obvious user sign in place, on the website. The mobile app was brutal.

Or the big 12 network will be owned by the conference and not by any network?...monthly subscription and all access to all teams and all sports? Just a thought from article I read. Every team in conf has an already established network of sorts in HD. With advertising and monthly subscription might be future.

Will my existing account automatically update? I pay 59 now and it renews each year at that price. I am not a fan of 79 bucks for the same thing.

The online version could have separate "channels" for each team or each sport.

It will suck if they also have the 30 second ads that take more like a minute or two to play before every fracking video clip.

Enough with the fruits and vegetables Extension and outreach and the ginger with bad hair.

UNI switched to SIDEARM a year ago, really impressed with them.

Check out unipanthers.com or goshockers.com for a preview of what their sites look like. They're pretty cool

Please. What is Roku? and why is it so good?

Educate yourself about what a roku is.

https://www.roku.com/

P.S. You can't spell isurock with roku

Roku is a device to watch streaming video. It has Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO Go, MLB, Sling, etc. It has more streaming video apps that any device and you hook it up to your TV and can watch everything on your TV. So with Cyclones.TV being on Roku, it is essentially like it being another TV channel where you just have to change the channel. There is no more hooking up your computer or casting to the TV every time you want watch Cyclones.TV on the big screen. (This is for those of us who don't have Mediacom in Iowa and would like to have Cyclones.TV channel on our TV.)

It is huge, huge news.

Great thing for me is that I have no caps on my internet usage because I have a business account because I work from home.

For all of you cord-cutters out there who might be thinking about buying a Roku for the Sidearm app: if you prepay for three months of Sling TV, you get a free Roku 2. That would cost you $60, which is $10 cheaper than the Roku 2 alone. So you would save $10 on the Roku, and get three free months of Sling TV (which includes ESPN). Awesome deal if you are already in the market to buy a Roku.

Looks like large black spots where video or pictures should be available on my iPad. Do websites really still try to use flash?

Does sling have archived content or it's just live?
