I like that there's no divisions but catering to OuuT is absolutely ridiculous when they broke the rules and backstabbed everybody but yet we have to treat them well for the remainder of their time here? **** them.

my guess is Big 12 will go divisionless starting next year even after they leave.

I hope you're correct. Our current round-robin is by far the best setup, but in lieu of that, I'd rather see the best two in the championship game, i.e. no divisions.

Division less works when we are talking 10-14 team conferences. But not if a conference is 16 or more teams.

Conferences might have to get creative and have the 9th game be flexible. Have 4 divisions of 4 teams and play 8 to determine division champs. The division champs play each other game 9 and winners advance to CCG.

But the other reality, with a 12 team playoff are CCG's still needed? From a football standpoint probably not. From a money standpoint, conferences will want the $.
