Biggest issue with replay is officials aren't reviewing to judge the original call. It's turned into making the call based on what it looks like happened on replay instead of strictly overturning the call if there's indisputable evidence the original call was wrong. Seeing as PI is a 100% judgment call to begin with, this will become worse than the catch rule got a few years ago in terms of terribly inconsistent enforcement.

That's fair. The league and officials do need to re-emphasize the "indisputable evidence" aspect of the replay system.

Remember when baseball added review to take care of the 'egregiously bad calls'? Now we sit there for 3 minutes trying to determine if a guy who clearly beat the play popped off the bag for a millisecond.

Get rid of replay in all sports.

I'll be interested the first time the offense challenges for defensive PI and it's determined that the WR pushed off. (obviously I haven't reviewed the official rule to see if this is possible)

I don't like reviews either, but I hate terrible officiating and blown calls more.

We'd have what, another 2 or 3 wins in FB if they would have reviewed some plays?
