Anyone got any good resolutions?

I usually don't get in on the resolutions thing, but this year I am. I am going to really focus on only existing in positive spaces in all aspects of my life, home, work, gym, even on this board. Something I have come to realize is that when I let myself get negative I tend to not function well, regardless of if the negativity is warranted or not.

I'd love to hear what the rest of you are thinking.

I'm going to try and tend my garden more in the morning this summer. Typically have dealt with it after work but the motivation to do that in the heat, while trying to make dinner, etc wasn't great.
We don't waste a lot of produce but we need to be better about planning meals around what is ripe.

Lose weight and limit phone time.

That is a good one.

Mrs Althetuna and I talked about this last night and here's what we came up with.

We had a ton of planned and unplanned expenses this year. Resolution #1: Get our emergency savings to an acceptable level.

I refurbished our deck and replaced siding on the north side of the house but I have more to do. Resolution #2: Paint deck and rest of house.

My daughter, who lives in Seattle, had our first grandchild. We visited twice last year. Resolution #3: Make at least two visits to Seattle this year.

The rest is gravy.

Do a better job of pre-bolusing before eating to better manage my diabetes. I’ve downloaded a good app to track/identify nutrition information so I can carb count easier.

I had my yearly physical on December 30th. It did not go well.

Resolution is to get healthy/lose weight.

While that this the typical resolution, this isn't a I want to lose weight resolution.

It's a I NEED to do this, and I need to do it now. It's time to put up or shut up.

Same story here. Life gets busy and you focus on work/family, but don’t take care of yourself.
