New Year Resolutions 2015

oooooo I saw this title and was hoping you'd link the old ones!

I have 10 things listed, but I'm not going through all of those!

The big ones are to buy a house (and do the moving/cleaning associated with that), get to goal weight, finish a seven year old craft project, and take a couple trips with the husband.

Going pretty well so far, at 95% of the savings that I want before we go to buy (ahead of schedule), working out lots, and husband got a better job that doesn't have a ton of vacation time the first year but will give him every other Friday off, so hopefully a few weekend trips can be had.

let's see, the house thing didn't quite happen, but we did buy land and turn in contracts/plans on the house.....so at least we decided on where we are living! I'm trying to finish that craft project up, but I think it'll be a week or so into January. In my defense, a new niece announcement in late Feb had me working on a different craft project until early October. Otherwise this would have been done mid-year. Hmm, took one vacation with husband...didn't quite get to goal weight, but didn't gain either. There were a couple other things I put on my list but not in this post that I did finish. That included running in a "real" 5k (did two of them) and discussing (and getting) a raise.

I need to write out my list for 2015 now! I think the house will dominate it, haha.

ha, reading that 2013 thread I see that in 2012 we apparently thought we'd go for parenthood in 2014. That clearly did not occur, lol.

I'm not sure about this year. I think working on Z sleeping in her crib again, but that's ongoing and worked last night. Maybe I should strive to stich more.

ok, 2015 list

Build a house!
Move into house!
Hit the equity number we want to hit
Make neighbor friends
Host things at new house - options include house-warming party, Xmas, NYE
Start new cross stitch (after finishing current one)
Work goals
Goal Weight
Hit max level for Target gift cards
Weekend/day trips to pretty WI areas. That WI from above show has me wanting to visit all the neat local places

Get ourselves on a budget, and start saving for things we want/need

Learn/teach myself to crochet. New niece/nephew coming in late August, and I'd like to give them a blanket.

The infamous exercise/eating right. I want to commit to at least 3 days of cardio, and cutting out so much crap that I eat. (She says as she eats another Christmas cookie)

BDK: Look for places before the college kids come back from school. Definitely look at grocery stores and fast food. They will most likely want you to work weekends too.

Cut out soda unless I am out drinking. I got a easy tea maker for Christmas and I've never enjoyed tea before like I do now. It may not be a classic teapot but it will get me started in the right direction

My job after graduation requires a lot of travel so it might get lonely and whatnot. So the other resolution (that I kinda started early near Thanksgiving time) is to meet new people and ask them a simple question “Tell me something you have done, or want to do, that you think I should do? It can be anything, as challenging as you want it to be, or as easy. As long as you give me the rest of my life to complete it, I promise I will do it..â€￾ So I create this sort of bucket list and strive to do these things. It'll force me to branch out even more and explore different things or just do some awesome **** with cool stories.

a hobby that travels well might be one too. Could make a bucket list of books to read or making it a point to visit well-known or off the beaten path things in the cities you are traveling through.

Get the stress fracture in my foot looked at by a medical professional. Be better in general.
