*New Uniform Thread*

Should we be concerned that next years uniforms are going to have the MAC look rather than the Power 5 look?

Perhaps the one in my sig? Basically the same logo minus the Iowa State script.

Your sig should have been where they began with the redesign. Add a border, tweak just a little, etc. and it could have been perfect.

I like the change but it not the end result.

Does anyone have any feelings about featuring our state in our logos or on a helmet? I came up with this idea:

You could of course flip the gold & red.
Not sure if they do it already or not but that would be good for the back of the helmet like they do the helmet stickers. Just one small one in the bottom right corner with the player's number on it.

Not official, but potential uniform for Saturday's game. No helmet stripe, which is unfortunate.

I miss the helmet stripe matching up with the shoulder stripes, too.

I would have figured gold pants -- enough dark red in Norman as it is.

But this is alright, I guess. Not our best, not our worst.

I prefer having helmet stripes, too. I'd like to have regular striping option in addition to the tapered.

I think this combo is sharp, but also agree with you, cardinal pants vs. opponent w/ red-family primary doesn't stand out as much as gold would. Going W-W-C isn't too bad, though, OU is likely to have its trad Crimson-Crimson-Cream, so there's contrast.

I guess. I would have preferred this again, say, KSU or Baylor.

Use red against gold teams (or non-red teams) and gold against red teams (or non-gold). The gold look would also look sharp against Texas Tech later this year.

Black/red versus white/gold has some potential.
