Nevada At A Glance

All I know is that they had this absolutely insane comeback. Pretty good indicator they never quit.

In some ways Nevada does have some similarities to ISU:
1) Shoots a lot of 3s and makes a lot
2) Low offensive turnovers rate
3) Play fast tempo (ISU doesn't always but it definitely capable)
4) Does not foul much on defense.

ISU wins if it:
1) can keep Nevada from shooting a lower than 35% from 3
2) allows Nevada less than 25 FT attempts
3) creates turnovers
4) does not give up too many offensive rebounds

Team that is hot from 3 wins this game IMO. We have got to defend the 3 and not get caught in a trap of if they are hitting 3's then we have to start chucking 3's..

I admittedly know next to nothing about Nevada. After looking into them more, I'm becoming less and less worried.

Nevada is also a good 3 pt. defensive team....

A team that can shoot the 3 as well as the Wolfpack does is always a concern. Just hoping the team doesn't look past them and towads Purdue or the fact that a matchup in KC vs the Jayhawks is looming.

Biggest challenge will be not to overlook them - up to coach and seniors to make sure that doesn't happen.

I have total faith in this team playing hard. It's an established habit.

If Nevada catches fire and is simply better when they play, so be it (although that would still be devastating), but I just don't see it being due to a lack of focus.
